Hey guys,

Just wondering when you guys have found to be the best time to buy an ATV? Right now looks like a good time... but with it being hunting season, are the bikes still a little more expensive as they would be in the spring... so I guess my question is, is there an off season in the atv market?

Based on my purchases, extensive research, miles of riding around and talking with salesmen, countless hours on the interenet looking at pricing and weeks of reading magazines. I can safely say, without any recanting, last year was the best time ever to purchase a Kawasaki. This will ring true for all years, from now until at least the year 2018.

 

June and July seem to be the best time to buy. Kawasaki offers great incentives to clear out last years model (model change is usually July or August), and dealers will also come way off sticker for the same reason. For example, I bought my 04 P700 in June for $0 down, 2.9% for 3 years, $6300 OTD. One month later they wanted $7900 OTD for a 05 P700, no incentive. I went to another dealer about a week ago and they wanted $8600 for a 05 P700 with only ITP wheels and MudLites. Their selling point was I could get a winch for $69 more!

best time is right before new models come out. get em before they are gone though
