Default Raced a Banshee and YFZ today

Today I headed over to the dunes to see if there was any action.... I came across someone I've seen before. A guy who rides his (stock) YFZ like he just got told he has one day to live. And he had a buddy with him, an old school Banshee rider with his modded shee. Nothing too fancy, the Shee was just piped and so forth. But he had 0% fear and had been riding for years. One of those guys with premix in his veins.

I don't wanna read any crap about these guys being bad riders. They were both seasoned veterans who rode as hard as anyone I've seen. The YFZ guy is someone I've seen jumping his bike so far he broke it. The Banshee guys is like a guy that made some of you guys want a Banshee in the first place.

Anyway I stopped to talk and it wasn't 5 mintues before we were in it.

The track----

Oval, one easy jump, maybe 8 feet high but very swallow grade, you could hit it full throttle and only come off about 2 feet. One high speed banked turn, you didn't even need to turn, let off the gas before you enter, go high on the bank and nail it. The turn did the rest for you. Then you hit the small jump again but coming from the opposite direction. It dropped you quickly, if you hit it too fast you bottom out hard (found out the hard way). Then another drop off, sharper but only 3 feet, you could hit it fast no troubles. THEN the hairpin deeply rutted turn. This is where the race was won or lost. Anything over idle you swung out too wide and had to go around.

The race--

We didn't just race for 10 or 20 laps, we raced for as long as our hands would let us. We only stopped to let the blood flow back into them. It was really a toss up. They told me afterwards they were trying as hard as they could to leave me but couldn't. I told them I was trying as hard as I could to pass them but couldn't. We all agreed it was a standoff. I was right on their *** the whole time. I almost passed the YFZ but that damn hairpin got me and I had to go around.

Three bikes, none faster than the other......fun in the sand....and I think a great testimony for Kawasakis' auto sport quad...

Hey thats great, however you must be a very good rider to get the results you just posted.... The V force is really not an MX quad..... The YFZ should of had a big advantage over you on a MX track...I have rode a YFZ450 and they are very light and nimble, but they have a very ruff ride.. I wouldn't want to ride one all day because the thing would just beat you to death.... That is why I like the V force for trail riding and just playing around.... Its a great quad with good power and a very nice ride.... Now that being said, I not going to take it to the MX track... I like my V force, but lets face it she is the fattest girl at the dance.....

ARE you serious about the mini gun, i never ever want to meet you on a trail, lol, i gotta watch my back, that i dont get 100 rounds unloaded inna me, but in all seriousness it looks sick, the quad and gun, and good write up on the race.
