Default need some help with my blaster

I have a 96 blaster, the motor was rebuilt like 2 years ago, but I only put about 8 hours max on the new engine. With the new engine it was running lean at first, so I richened it up and put in a 280 main jet for winter riding. It was running lean because I put in boyesen power reeds. So when I rode it in the winter it was fine, but now here it is october and the first time I've really rode the thing and it's making a lot of smoke, the idle is taking longer to come back down and sputters kinda. Also there is drips of oil coming out where the exhaust port on the cylinder connects to the pipe. Does this sound like it needs to be rejetted? I pulled the spark plug and it was pretty black and had a little oil on it as well.

Another problem I'm having since the motor was put back into it is that whenever it's in neutral and you pull the clutch in and push down it kind of feels like it's slamming into gear... and the chain tightens up. Also want to add that the chain isn't loose or anything. What could be the problem here? My friends 99 blaster with a rebuilt motor did the exact same thing and it feels like something is breaking.

I'm going to be selling the 4 -wheeler hopefully soon and want to fix these things before It gets sold.

thanks ahead of time, any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Edit: just incase for jetting purposes, The mods on the blaster are a DG pipe and silencer, boyensen power reeds, wiseco .060 forged piston and rings, wiseco hot rods crank and rod, oil injector blocked off mixed at 32:1, modified airbox and k&n filter.

The 280 main should have you running rich if anything. It sounds like you have a leak somwhere, have a leak down test done.
