DS650 RIMS

my friends hyper-techs had a problem with thin walled tires. We couldn't get a bead to seat, mainly because the compression ring wouldn't compress enough to seat. They worked great on desert tires, but the lighter weight sand tires were a nightmare.

So are they worth it or not. I'm a woods racer using 6ply tires. I should not have any bead problems but I can't make the DS any wider than stock or Ill be running up trees. So rims that offer +2 and bigger off set are no good for me. I Know I'm kind of out numbered in this forem, Because I think most of you are dune riders. We don't have much sand over here in Pa. Thank you all for your input.

Sorry no help on the wheels, but was woundering where you are at in pa. I am also in pa and ride a DS. I live near the poconos. Lost a lot of our good riding areas and was woundering what area you are in and what kind of riding areas you have.

Ive got a set sitting in my garage for the last 2 years - rode them once, lost a bead, ruined the tires, and due to the offset, rolled her over - nobody got hurt - but I was thinking of turning them into planters for my apartment. Dont you think it would be cool for a single guy to have CF rims for planters?
