Better tire for my p-700
#1
We ride trails in mich. that are 30-57miles long. Some are slow 15-30mph with lots of whoops. Sat. we did a 56.6mile loop fast trail smooth wet sand avg. 45-65mph. What tire will help grip the trail better? No mud just hard sand and dirt? I'm thinking i need to stay with a 25in tall tire right? What if i go to a 23in? i will lose mph but will it help with the hole shot?? What kind? Thank guy's

hi tafil i had maxxis all tracks on my prairie 650 and i also have 26 inch atrs.both are very nice tires for hardpack ,great traction.either choice is good .although i like the handling of the front tires with the atrs better.this could be because i had wider front maxxis tire (9 inch)and the atr fronts (8 inch).the narrower tire seemed to cut thruogh the terrain better.but the rears i feel are equal.you wont be disappointed with either choice.good luck

I like the look of the maxxis sur-trak. I'm thinking of keeping the stock front tires on. They seem to work good? We ride FAST! It's funny. The bad looks you get when you pass dirt bikes on the faster trails with a 4x4.lol
