Default Do I need to seperate my crankcase

I pulled counter balanceand on my 1995 400L engine and the inner bearing remained in the crankcase. The book said that I need to seperate the engine to remove it. I wanted to find out if aneyone out there has a way of pulling the inner bearing without seperating the engine.

You will need to get a pilot bearing puller to get it out.

I was able to pull the inner bearing out with a pilot bearing puller. It was a little stubern but once i added the right amount of heat to it
it popped right off. Thanks for all the great info.
