ATT: anyone interested n race lightened flywheel
#1
just got my flywheel back from rcr last nite. my cousin had his lightened about a year ago by hpd. under curiousity we weighed the two flywheels to see if there was any difference. well it turned out my flywheel weighed a 1/2 lb. less than his did. rick even painted it for me.
thanks rick

Wow......if you still have the same performance out of the flywheel.....then I would say that is a big deal(1/2 lb).........that ends up to be like 5.5lbs dropped.

you could tell there was a weight difference just by holding them in your hand. you could also see where rick took more off than hpd did. he did alot neater job too.

Our race flywheels go out the door weighing in around 3 pounds .
The reason we paint them is the fresh machined steel can rust like crazy , it is simple for us to paint them when comepleted . Some leave red , some black , some gray (depends on whats easy to grab ) , but never the less they get some paint .
Thanks for all the kind words , I apprecciatte it .
