I didn't know there was green plastic that encased the handle bars, is that offered now? What company has the total lime green plastic? Good looking ride.

 

Hey,hehe,you should have read the top of my picture page,the plastic was painted!! Im in Canada and apparently from what i was told u cant get that plastic,its only available in the U.S.crappy for me but i got an awesome paint job,better be awesome,costed me 400 bucks! Later dude!

I like those wheels, how are they holding up. I was just wondering because I put a set on my 800 project quad (see pics at bottom of my page) I think they are the best looking wheel out there for these things, I had to wait almost a year to get them. I hope they hold up well.


You could just buy the green plastic pieces from Kawi since they now offer the Kawi green color for 2005, I think the part numbers are available on the Kawi web site. I am not sure but I think the plastic for the handle bar/gage cluster is around 50.00 bucks.

 

Did they start to make the kawie bolt patten or did you have to change the hubs to get the rim to fit?

 

Looks nice...please let us know how that paint holds up. I've seen other folks who painted their plastic fenders and the paint scratches off very easily. I'm curious to know how yours holds up over time.

I was going to say the same thing, I've seen spray painted fenders and it wasn't pretty after they flexed a few times. Is that special paint or anything? looks real nice.
