I recently tore my banshee apart and now I am going to paint all the metal pieces except the frame itself. I bought a can of rust-oleum specialty high heat, black. Think that it will scrape off easy? I would like to have it last.

You definitely want to powdercoat all your parts. Powdercoating is much stronger than normal paint and resists scratching and chipping much better.

I looked at your pics, that looks nasty but at least now you can get it bored and spend lots of money on some nice new parts.
