I have an edelbrock carb w/ a terry cable thumb throttle and the thumb throttle is really stiff. Major thumb strain. I disconnected the throttle cable from the carb and the cables flows smoothly through the insulation. Does anyone know how I could loosen up the spring tension on the carb?

 

i donno my friend with a DS 650 and a big carb had the stiffest throttle prob like yours i mean you couldnt' ride it for 5 minutes without using your palm we never did find a fix for it so maybe it's them big carbs that do it
