Iam looking to purchase a used 03 model polaris 400 and have been told that they have a consistent problem with the front drivetrain. Fact or fiction? thank you.

 

im thinking your talking about the hubs and if u dont do maintance then that is a fact

 

I don't really know, never owned one. but after reviewing some forums I feel a little more confident about purchasing one. Think salesman was wanting to sell a new one. thank you for replying

 

If the machine looks well cared for and has low miles, there should not be anything wrong with the front drive train. In general, I am not aware of any common problems in this area. The only thing that does them in is abuse and lack of maintenance.
