being i am considering a 400ex.

i seem to have found one for 2850, obo, so i called the guy up, and asked him if he would take 2600, he said ok.

my only questions are

am i going to be dissapointed in the power of the 400 compared to a z, or the money i save on the 400 i can get myself a 440 kit.

The only mods that this 400 has is

2004 plastics, and Works shocks. and a FMF pipe.- my only drawback is it is a 1999.

Get it and buy a 440 kit.

 

see if he'll go down to 2500

 

Gosh, you can get a few years newer for barely any more $. I'd hold out for either a lower price or another deal.

 

Id go for it and put a 416 kit in it instead of the 440
