I have an 04 DS 650 Baja X. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon. I read a post about the Mud Machine A/T tires and like them. I ride in mostly sand quarries that have soft sand, mud and some hard dirt surfaces. I was wondering if I do replace the tires should I get the same size tires I have on now or should I get a different size. I plan on keeping the stock 04 rims and was wondering if I could fit wider tires in the back or is that a no go? Thanks, D

 

well i would for sure go 22 inch tires and then go down a tooth on the front sprocket to make it up

 

I went with the 22x12x10's. They work great.

 

I also went with 22x11x10 in the rear with a 15tooth front sprocket.
