Default My wife, what a character

Today we went to the Novi expo center snowmobile show in Michigan. We are looking to buy two new sleds next year. My wife went to each snomobile manufacturer and asked them if they have any sleds with a 250cc engine in it. She is so happy with her quad, that she wants the same engine in her sled. Her current sled is a 700cc that has about 120-130hp; she says it's too fast. She finally settled on a 380 MXZ (Skidoo). But not before she went to the Polaris booth and arm twisted the rep asking when Polaris will come out with a rev type sled with a small engine. The rep tried to point out how nice the 900 fusion is. Boy was that funny watching that discussion!! Her first choice of sleds was the gsx 500ss early this year at $6500. The 380 is $4300. Good savings for me! AS a matter of fact; indirectly, you guys have saved me $6000 (price difference between two 400 Sportsmans and two Trailblazers) plus $2200 for the sled. Keep up the good work. At this rate of savings I'll have my mortgage paid off in no time... LOL For anyone not quite following my line of thinking, see the my first post below:

My wife does the same thing. I was going to get her a Scrambler 500 4x4 to go along with my SP700 - but at the last minute she decided its not really what she wants. Although I am sure the Coach store will see brisk business this holiday season.

Gotta love her - she lets me indulge all my hobbies without complaint.

LOL, how many purses can a wife have? Funny thing about our quads is that we first were going to get dirt bikes. In my past life I rode bikes. Then our youngest son suggested quads, my wife caught up on it and we ended up with quads. I gotta admit, it was a great idea.

You'd be surprised (although I'm not anymore) - I think she's up to about 23 now. Coach purses don't come cheap (about $200 a pop) but she lets me do what I want to do (fly helicopters, quads, buy a corvette, RC nitro trucks, etc) so like I said as long as I'm making good money and keeping her happy she'll always indulge my hobbies

I found a good wife (expensive) but never the less good.

At least my daughter loves to 4 wheel - she kinda helps balance things out.

I suppose maybe I'm real lucky. My wife makes more money, is extremely low maintenence, and loves to do anything I do. We are 2 peas in a pod and I dont suppose it could be any better.

Holy cow tdelong, you have some serious money invested in purses. But hey, if she's happy so are you! That's all that counts.

Bubba297, it sounds like your wife is a lot like mine. We are not fanatics at anything but we like to do everything and we do it together.

Yeah...don't get me started on her shoe collection either.

Me I own like 4 pairs of shoes (2 dress, 1 tennis shoe, 1 mountain boots) - for some reason my wife seems to need a new pair (of the exact same color and style shoe every 2 months - she is in serious contention with Imelda Marcos on shoes collections.
