I've had 5 doe and a coyote under my stand the last two saturdays. I shaved skin off a buck opening day.(shot through hemlock branches) First time ive missed in ten years. My girlfriend cleaned out a 145lb doe with our brand new Impala. Picking up the meat tonight.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

We filled out... 6 for six...3 bucks and 3 does...none of them were that big, but there was ALOT of corn left in the fields...I shot at 3 deer...one was RIGHT behind me...and I have a red dot scope so it is hard to aim like that...The next one I shot at, I shot at three times...I was walking up a hill and I crested it, and a buck was standing on the other side, so I crouched down and I tried to sneak up on it...I did, shot once...it turned and ran (it was looking RIGHT at me) and yeah...missed that one (I suck at close shots) i looked for blood for half an hour...didnt find nothing...and then I sat down...10 minutes after I sat down I seen a BIG buck....and it was half in the corn half out...lookin right at me...I was going to wait for him to come out, and then shoot....but it caught wind of me and went back in the corn... my dad came up about 45 mins later...drove up...and we were talkin...and then I seen ANOTHER deer about 150 yards out...I shot at it like 6 or 7 times...hit it once...I seen it hunch up. We looked for blood and found some. We trailed it for about 3 and a half hours. and through the corn field (probably about 20 acres of corn) and we could not find it...

but in the end in 2 days we filled out. It was a great time
