Default Access hole in air box

At the risk of sounding stupid, I wonder how many new DS owners realize there is an access hole in the airbox so you can get at the hoze clamp with a screw driver. The hole is plugged with a flush black plug that is hard to notice. Perhaps this is new to 05's. Just thought I'd pass it on in case anyone else has been struggling to remove the air filter.

By the way, On Dunes end cap, K&N, and 175 jet installed. Man this babies loud now. Going to Dove Springs this weekend to try it out.

You ain't the only one, I don't know how long I struggled with that hose clamp before I realized that access hole. Went through the whole time of having the '03 and noticed it on the '04. It ain't stupid, it's just lack of observation. lol, So I guess you ain't the only one.

Wow, I'm gonna go check that out right now, I've been so frustrated with those clamps I've must've muttled every cuss word in the book toward the engineers that designed that routine.

Ha! I knew it from the first day I owned mine.

Of course I bought it used and the plug was already gone so I guess thats kind of cheating. I probably never would have noticed if it had been in there, heck I didn't even know it was suppose to have a plug in the hole.
