My 450R has a pretty significant hit in the middle, kind of like the YFZ. It won't yank your arms out of the sockets like a Banshee, but it is significant enough to get your attention!

My engine mods: EHS Racing vented airbox lid, UNI foam filter, FMF Factory 4 full exhaust system, HRC cam.

 

Yeah there is a step in the curve on mine. 2 inch exhaust tip,180 main,bigger pilot, and needle up one, and I haven't seen the box lid in a long time.

I have the money for a cam and A-arms this week. It'll rock then.

 

yes it seems to alter its personality more aggressivlely at that point. it wakes up. yet smoother and way more controlable than a banshee, but defintely there. mine is totally stock.

anyone have the HRC kit or different cam? im wondering (without hype) how it acts when this is done??

 

I have the HRC, but I never rode it stock, so I can't compare for you.

 

recon...did you ever try the preload thing on the rear shock i pmed you about?
