Default rancher rev limiter

Is there any way possibly to tone down the rev limiter in these quads?

You mean restrict it? You could always turn the throttle screw in.

I've never hit the limiter on the rancher.

I am not aware of a way to lower the rev limiter on these quads, if that is what you mean.

I routinely hit my limiter almost every time out. Usually when I'm in the mud in 1st gear.

Judging from his other post "tone down" means to turn off completly. I hit mine the first weekend I got the rancher, thought something was wrong, I think it's in the electronics.
