Hi!
I got an 85 TrailBoss 250 that I'm trying to get the flywheel off. The Flywheel has already popped, but these older polaris's have a round collar type thing in front of it and I cannot figure out how to get that thing off. Is it pressed on or do you have to unscrew it??? Any help appreciated.

I think i might got it. it should have a nut on the very middle of the fly wheel. so do you have the one plate where there is 3 holes or 2 holes on the plate that are about 1 centimeter wide and in the middle of the plate and if so either one of these will need a puller that you could get from your local dealer.This may help shout back for more help if needed.

 

The puller is for automobiles and is called a harmonic ballance puller to take it off.
