adjust your shocks and it will be very different. i like the front shocks on this bike. they are pretty sensitive and it may only take a half of turn or a turn for you to see a difference. i went 1.5 turns out on my front ones and 5 clicks in the back and it made a big difference for me.
i wil add that IMO the rear shock isnt as good as the fronts. the compression adj is ok but seems that the rebound is lacking and can get things too springy. stock, the valving just isnt right.

alot of people take the preload out to lower th bike and get better handling. my shocks are getting sent to c&d racing monday for revalving. i'll have triple rate fronts and a dual rate rear.
i'll have pics posted soon( along with the jillion others i have)

How much it would cost me to upgrade to double or tripple rate springs and get the shock revalved? I really don't want to spend a bunch of money on NEW shocks if I can just get away with upgrading the ones I've got for cheap.

works sells a triple rate spring upgrade for the fronts. i think it costs around $300. i got a set of works triple rates with remote rezzies for about $500, the catch is that i don't have ne adjustability. if i were you i'd go with the spring upgrade kit, and a re-valve.

i mostly ride dunes, with lots of big jumps and flat landings, so that's what i had the shocks set up for. they are night and day. for the first month or so i couldn't get over the difference they made. now i want to start desert racing so i'm goin to have the shocks re-built for that. i reccomend getting them rebuilt for trail riding, then they'll work good in the dunes, and everywhere else. with them set up for dunes they don't work so great on the trail, lots of feedback thru the bars.
