Default ruby fix itself?

couple of weeks ago ruby started to slip in high revs. i did a oil change. took it out for a test run before tearing it apart. started out slipping. then it was just like a power band kicked in, took right off. worked good on the way back home. could it have been a bit of dirt stuck in the pump valve? thank you 2 all.

maybe your oil was do to be changed.
and it lost its viscosity(hope i spelled that right)
and when you changed your oil you got you friction back and it started to work again.
when oil wares out it looses its viscosity and brakes down and dose more harm then good.
thats why they say to change it as soon as the oil change light comes on or every 500 miles.
my light comes on every 1000 kilometers.
and i change it as soon as i can after it comes on.
its just a thought.

Probably was air in the pump, and once it bled out, it was fine.
