I have an old YT 125 trike that has no suspension front or rear and it has lawn mower tires on it. I took it to the dunes last yaer and it worked better than my quad did with knobbies. I think it is becuase their was nothing on the tires to dig U into the sand , and the engine is pretty much centered over the rear axel so it has weight to give it traction . it even climbed steeper hills than the kknobbies on the LT 185 did. I never would have expected that great of performance from lawn mower tires on a trike. I dont know what this posts reason was but if you have a small CC trike and dont want to spend alot of money on paddles or the bike wont turn them then lawn mower tires work amazingly well.

 

Not to mention cheap!!! Can you post a pic of the tires? How much did they cost?

 

i put some on my 110

i had to do it all custom, i had to cut the rims of the axle and cut holes for the bolts. in the end they kind of wooble the trike up and down at high speeds but its way better then the big balloon tyres
