???Atc Ban really expired???
I heard on here months ago that the ban for atc's was only for 10years or so. If true why don' the big companies renew their old designs to bring back their older customers? It seems smart, and sell only to "experienced riders". Can anyone Find any info about the ban on any website??

i hear you loveotride123456789 we need new trikes to put these new quads to shame. something that will sell, and restrict the sells to experienced people only so those money grubbing lawyers can shove those lawsuits up their tight @ss's. quads are good but trikes are cheaper, and more reliable from the old honda's i've seen.

The makers signed an "agreement" with the CPSC (AKA: Another useless government agency that tax payers pay for) that stated they would not produce/sell ATCs for a period of 10 years. IIRC, it expired in 1998.
I hate to say this, but hell will freeze over before trikes are made again. There were so many lawsuits back in the day, it would be opening the flood gates of litigation if they started making trikes again. Every ambulance chasing lawer would be lining up so sue the manufactures if someone so much as scratched themselves riding a new ATC.
