I recommend two different brands that have worked great for me..ITP mudlites or either the Dirtdevil tires. They are very similiar tires, both 6 ply and tread patterns are very similiar. On my rancher 350 I increased the size to 25 inch tall and one inch wider than stock. They are aggressive , but not too aggressive, which can cause problems trail riding in the handling. Unless you ride mainly in a swamp or mud all the time, I highly recommend either of these tires..Price range around here is around 220 for the set of four. Good luck.

yea i would go no bigger than 25's because i got a chance to ride a guys rancher at the dealer ship around the test track and the motor just barely turns the wheels in the mud. by the way how much does the dirt devils weigh compared to the mudlites, i am also debating on the mudlites or dirtdevils. how much better do they work compared to the dirthooks because i can go through mud up to the gas tank and never get stuck.

I installed the 25inch dirtdevils on the 03 rancher..cant tell that I lost any power at all. I like to run the tire pressure at 5.5 pounds though so you can make them break loose easier to power slide in the turns. The traction is unbelievable when you need it, its there. I installled the 26 inch bigfoot kit on my Foreman and it really drained some power. Had to go back and install a performance kit. Now it runs better than when it was stock. The 25inch tire will not affect the rancher though, or it sure didnt mine.

I have 25X8X12 Mudlites on the front, and 25X10X11 on the back and I never noticed any power loss, I can still hit the limiter in 5th gear no problem, and it turnes em in the mud fine (in 1st). I just installed a K&N filter, Dynojet kit, and exhaust the other day and wow that really opened er up, when I replace these tires in the spring, I will be going 26 tall, 10 wide in the front and 12 in the back.
