Its Getting real nasty here in NNJ, Im in need of some serious traction. Last time i went riding i got stuck 3 times, which really sucks. I was thinking about the blackwater's, any other suggestions for a tire that still performs on trails but has traction in mud/snow.

I was thinking of getting a mud/snow tire for some of the trails around this area. I was also looking to get a bigger tire for more ground clearance. (I'm running 20" tires right now). After talking with a few people, I'm actually thinking of getting the Kenda Klaw tire. The pure "mud" tires seem like they may be a bit heavy for my machine. I'm also concerned about ride quality when the conditions are not particularly sloppy.

How about Maxxis Surtrak? From what i can tell they look like some good tires for sports.... I can't tell you from first hand experience... If not... RUN 29IN OUTLAWS!

Anyone run mud machines? I saw the tires on magicracing.com and the 22/12.5/10 looks like it would hook up lovely in mud/snow.
