Question . MY friend wants to buy a new sport quad and he is tossing around either a raptor 350 ($5,00) or a 05 KFX400($5800). I have a 04 kfx400 and I absolutly love it, so I told him it up to him which one he wants, not me. I like the idea of the kfx400 because of all the upgrades from my quad and the idea of Liquid cooled that is a better design that on the kfz V.S. air cooled on the raptor 350,which the engine gets hotter with the cool down factor of AIR.
I just don't like the idea of air cooled in a high performance Quad

I would get a Honda 450R,they are fast right out of the box.

 

Well if he can get either one he wants then he should definetly go with the kfx400,its all around better than the rap350.If he can only afford the rap350 he won't regret it either,its a great atv.

u all think if the quad is faster its better. thats not the case

 

Lets compare:

The KFX has better handing, more hp, faster acceleration and top speed, better ergos...The list goes on. The only major thing the warrior has over it is possibly reliability, as its a very proven machine.

 

how big is the guy? like height/weight. and whats his current machine and rider experiance? has he ridden ur kfx? if so did he like it?
