They work good. Best bang for the buck? Definatly Not! The HMF Full exhaust and the Alba is the best bang for the buck, but if you want the best exhaust, look at the CT Sonic. Just rember, the HMF is a low-mid pipe, so top end increase isnt as much as the others. Also, the CT Racing has the best power then any pipe for the raptor. This is how i see it, HMF 370$ = 42hp Alba=350$ 46hp CT sonic= 550$ 49hp.

CT sonic comes with a pro design filter kit too.

LTE looks good and perform good, but they seem a little pricy.

I do like the YFZ better than the banshee, The yfz is really snappy and reminds me of the banshee. The handling on the yfz is tons better! Quite a bit lighter and easier to turn. The banshee is a really fun bike to ride but i perfer the yfz, seems more like a balanced bike.

Default LTE dual pipes???

I have the LTE set up on my 690 raptor and the more i ride with it the more i realize that it is a top end pipe but that is not necessarily a bad thing. If you do your drag racing in sand as i do you will get excellent results past 300 feet but it will also perform very well in a 300 foot race.I usually will start out slightly behind in a uphill 500 to 600 foot race but the very strong top end of the LTE will almost always put me back in front. The results that i get at 230 lbs tells me that a rider of average weight would do extremely well.I find that it is a lot more fun to come from behind and pull past someone who thinks that they have won so i am pleased with the set up i have.As far as the value of the LTE it is my opinion that when you add up the quality of the system coupled with the fact that you also get headers i think that it is right in line with most other quality performance exhaust systems.I almost forgot to mention the unique and great sound that the LTE system produces,it is the best sounding exhaust that i have heard on a four stroke but i am biased.

I have the LTE's on my 450. there is no doubt they are spendy. you do get 2 silencers though. I have had some issues with the head pipe nuts coming loose. I beleive it is due to the fact that the flange is billet. they expand and contract differently between the 2 different metals. so, you have to use prevaling torq nuts to keep them tight. you also have to have a heat sheild for the left side pipe if you plan to shift. your leg will go right against the mid pipe and leave some of your pants on there. it does not come with a heat sheild. but, they conveniently sell them for that pipe at $172.00 for carbon fiber. I tried to convince them that it should come with the pipe. they disagreed. I used the heat sheild off the stock muffler. works good. and it was free. it is also a little tricky to seal up the mid pipes. I had to take them apart and put muffler sealant on those joints. they are a little crude in design. the main reason I purchased these pipes. sound restrictions at the dunes i ride. I saw these pipes pass a DB test at winchester bay. on a raptor. so thats the bonus for me. they give you preformance. and they pass sound restrictions. I have seen tickets handed out for loud exhaust. those are spendy two. oh ya, one more thing. the jetting they gave me with the pipes was way off. plan on buying different jets as well.

maybe that was you (duneitiludie) at winchester that day. a few months ago.

If I get the dual setup I will be getting the ones from Bob Craycraft, they out perform any pipe out there and has proven his point with several bikes that have them. Call Craycraft racing and check them out. Awesome HP gains!!!

busmechanic-That wasnt me at winchester but i would like to get mine checked for sound so i know that i am at least close to legal.RaptorOwner-From what i have heard about craycraft i would think that his dual set up is a good one but i would have to see the same motor dynoed with the two different pipes(Craycraft Vs LTE)to believe that it is significantly if at all better than the LTE.
