Judging by the address on that webpage above, I'm guessing those prices are in Canadian dollars. That being the case, its not near as expensive as it first appears.

Kenda has new radial tire
I was thinking that was very expensive, also. Even if the price is comparable to other radials, why would I want a tire that looks almost exactly like a Dunflop? Give me a radical looking Bighorn radial, anyday!
