I don't know how close you are to Charleston, WV but Charleston Harley Davidson/Kawasaki ATV (can you ask for a cooler combo than that???) has them for $5500 I believe. I bought my BF750 there for $6799. All that dealers here in Maryland are selling the 750 at MSRP of $7599. I see "Black Hills" in your ID there but I'm not familiar.

God bless,

Probably not the best deal... Ridersville Cycle in Berkely Springs, WV will sell a BF750 for $6799 and a Praire 700 for $6,200 out the door. A BF650 should be even less. Call Harold, their the real deal. I drove 90 minutes for that deal on a 2005 Prairie 700, and it was well worth the drive. At least in my state (Maryland) the stealerships jack you up!

you can forget about getting good service at the Kawi/Hardley dealer in Charleston though. I went there three times and got to speak with a salesman not ONCE! they were to busy courting the pinheads looking at the Hardleys.........

6050 doesn't sound like to bad a deal. They can probably be had cheaper somewhere but you'd have to factor in the trouble getting there.

..Thanks for all the replies..I have had great stealer busting price quotes from them in the past, its seems like they are all out of the 650's and he would have to get one from another stealer..thus the extra mark up..I'm boarder line betweent the suzuki 700 efi or the prairie...should know in the next couple of days..thanks again...

That does suck Cartman. Poor service speaks pretty loud. I don't know what the rule is at Harley/Kawi of Charleston though. My experience was much different. I live in MD and called out there ahead of time to get the deal straight, I already knew what I wanted. Once I arrived (5hrs. later) Derrick had all my paperwork in order and got me moving right on through the process. I was VERY pleased with their support. Also gave me a great deal on a Cycle Country plow, tubes and manual lift and had them ready to go and assembled (no charge)! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for my next ATV and likely will.

By the way, I am also one of the Harley pinheads you mention. I ride a 2004 XL1200C bought here in Maryland. While I was there buying the BF750 I saw that tey were also offering one heck of a great deal on new Harleys though. MSRP is about the best you can do as far as purchase price but they were also throwing in your first 10,000 miles of maintenance INCLUDING a tire! I never saw anybody offer anything like that...you'd never see it here in MD.

not meaning to lump all hardley riders in one group.............but that place just kills me. generally the harley people are good people. i just couldn't bring myself to pay that kinda price for the bike you get......just my opinion. V-Rod excluded i'm not particularly impressed by any harleys.

I can understand why you feel that way, Harleys are pricey no doubt. Charleston has a great promo running but still you gotta pony up if you're gonna straddle a hog. Myself, I been through my own little jap bike phase. I still dig 'em 'specially them crotch rockets! They are a blast to ride. But nothing on two wheels puts a smile on my face like perchin' myself on top a loud chrome monster and cruising miles on end in a sea of my buddies shiny chrome rides. I'm sure you got your simple pleasures as well

i'm gonna eventually buy a bike.........i keep waffling between a crotch rocket and cruiser. I have no buisness on a streetbike like the CBRs or Gixxers but i just love the way the look. Then i look at something like the Kawi MeanStreak and think............that'd be nice......comfy, fairly quick, and can make a good note with the right pipes! then back to the Honda Superhawk then back to the Victory.........then..........you get the idea..........
