Default P650 tie rods/stering knuckles

Has any one else had any problems with bending of their tie rods and rounding out of the aluminum stering knuckle mounting holes where the tie rods mount? This is the 2nd time I have had to order an aluminum stering knuckle at $100+ and I am not happy. One time it was where the A arm ball joint bolts in and now it is where the tie rod bolts in. Has any one been successful repairing the rounded aluminum hole? I thought either by shimming the bolt to a larger bore ID or by welding and re machining the hole to the right size might work. I do not "cath big air" with the machine, but I am wondering if the 26" mudlites are causing the wear to take place. Comments?

Your bigger tires will definately cause some concern with your problem. I have a friend thats got a P700 and he's got 28x12x12 tires and 2" lift and he has broken tie rod ends, tie rods, and 2 knuckles. He does a lot of wheelies with it though!! Too much strain on the suspension parts. I think the knuckles aren't strong enough anyways from the factory. They are made of aluminum and should be made of somethin stronger anyways. I've never heard of rounding out the holes in the knuckles. Mainly people just shear where the tie rods bolt to the knuckle.
