Well I went and looked at what I thought was a 400 and it turned out to be a 450ES.

What can you tell me about them?

First is that the brakes need some work (they are basically shot).....are these pretty friendly to work on?

Second is that it was a daily user on a farm....ie 7k miles, if it is in good shape should I be concerned?

When I drove it a the upshifts were smooth, while the downshifts were a bit clunky.....cause for concern or just normal?

It didn't turn very sharp but I believe that this is due to the full-time 4x4 that I am not used to.

What else should I know about this machine.
