2 stroke oil for polaris
#2
You're going of get a lot of different replies for this. Some people use Polaris brand, some Amsoil, some .... you get the picture. I use Polaris because I had them throw it in when I bought it, and am just now running out. I think the bottom line is, make sure it is a 2 stroke oil. Find a brand you're confident with, and if it doesn't smoke out the neighborhood, stay with it.

I have been running polaris gold oil in my 400l for 4 years. Any other good oil would work but through experience I found the polaris gold oil tends not to smoke. I met a guy running regular 2 stroke oil and he was complaining that is bike smoked too much. I feel that that oil works the best in a stock polaris engine.

I always ran the blue in my wife's scrammy, but the smoke was probably a little more than what most would want. I am the old fashion thinking kind that likes to see a little smoke out of my 2-strokes, but newer oils have changed that.

I run the Polaris blue in all my Polaris 2strokes.And I am like Bubba I like the smoke.....that way I KNOW it is oiling.

I run Polaris Blue in mine as well. I have since it was new in 97. Seems to work good. It does smoke, but I'm kinda old fashioned in that way too, if it's a two stroke and doesn't smoke then something must be wrong. Even though my dad has an 03 and runs polaris gold. It doesn't smoke much at all.
