what is the best sport quad for trails?

the trails I ride are steep, narrow, and muddy.

I was thinking maybe the 400DVX.......

I.M.O. The best trail machine is the scrambler 500.

no its not (atleast where I live) because the scambler is so high geared and an automatic, going up a steep hill makes the belt slip really bad- I know from personal experience cause ive rode one......

yeah the DVX or z/kfx400 (i believe all three are just about the same powerplant but i know the z/kfx are) would be my vote for best stock woods and trail sport quad. this is of course out of the box.

Yeah i'd have to say a z400 or kfx400 to for the trails they have very good power. I also really like the 300ex for the trails it may not produce a ton of power but its fun ad i can hang and pass 400exs on the tight twisting trails.

I agree..although I would go with a Warrior if the trails are too narrow. But if your trails are wide enough have you considered the Predator?

yea, my uncle has one. Him and a friend of mine brought their quads down to my house (pred & Z) and the Z did better on the trails than the pred

I have to agree with drttrack97.I have never smoked a belt on a hill and I have climbed some bad *** hills that the "sport"bikes wont even attempt. But I do have all my clutches tuned in to where they work right. But if a Scrammy is out of the question and hills are you main concern I would go with a Banshee.
