Default GSXR 600 in lt250r Frame??

I am considering putting a GSXR 600 motor in my lt250r frame. I have searched the forms and found some references to this type of modification, but not in any great detail. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how extensive the frame modifications would be? Also how much will this little project cost and will I still be able to jump my quad and ride it through the whoops? Any Info will be greatly appretiated.

Default GSXR 600 in lt250r Frame??

I'm currently putting a similar engine in a lt500 frame and the welding and fab work is extensive. I'm not familar enough with the 250 to tell you how much gusseting and reinforcing you would need. First thing check the output shaft height compared to the frame end of the swingarm you can't change that and it will determine how much ground clearance you will lose and if you have to raise the spine or top bar under the tank. good luck
