i am changing the gear oil in a 1995 kodiak 4x4. i went to autozone and the had some but my owners manual says to use gl-4 but at autozone all they had was gl-5 gear oil. i wanted to make sure this was okay before i di someting wrong.

 

Yes, the GL5 is just a higher rated oil. It will work fine
