It just died

Default It just died

My son yamoto 150cc been runing great. all of a sundin it has just died no spark . can anyoun help me? Thanks

Bubba,

Are you sure it's electrical (no spark)? I thought that is what was wrong with my Kazuma RFX-150, but it turned out just to be flooded.

Read Here

I forgot to ground the plug against the frame before I checked for a spark, and wasted a bunch of time before the light went on! Man - you forget alot if you don't ride for 20 years!

Not questioning your troubleshoot - just trying to save you the hassle I went through (I made it way harder than it had to be)!

No I have let It set over Night , still get no spark. But are you haveing trouble with it flooding and what did you do to fix it . thanks for the info.

The flooding was just a one time thing (I hope!).

And I let mine sit overnight too - then it wouldn't even turn over, because the fuel had leaked down into the cylinder, and the starter couldn't turn it over with all the fuel in there.

When it died, I was absolutley sure it was electrical - and I couldn't have been more wrong.

I'm sure you'll get more help from the boards soon!

check fuses by your battery. had a similar problem with my daughters 150
