Which tires, and is my lift enough?
#1
I have a foreman 400 with a 1 and a half inch lift, getting ready to put on a set of Mud Bugs. I can't decide on the 27" or the 26", please let me know if my lift is enough, the Mud Bugs have 1.2 " lugs on them, I know the 26 will fit but not sure about the 27, gettting a great deal ITP Delta Series X black wheels, with either the 26 or 27 for $375, got a friend on the inside. Let me know which size would be the best way to go.

I would stick with a 26" tire too. It should give you more than enough traction without the power loss you will have with the 27s. Have you looked into the Mud Lites? I think these are a lot lighter than the Mud Bugs. The lighter weight means more power so it may be worth looking into? Just a thought.

I have Mud lights and love them along with the rest of the people I have met with them and I run a ATV club and go to most of the larger jambroees most everyone I have met likes them. You are very under powered so I would go with 25s unless you spend all day in deep mud. Large tires just suck power and kill handeling. If you are keeping the stock wheels it would be OK you could run them most of the time and put the larger ones on for the mud and snow that way you would not be dogged by them most of the time.
