I was just wondering what you guys think a 3wheeler will be worth in 5-10 years. I cant see my 250r are my 350x going down in price but I always seem to think that one day they will be worth a whole lot more.

It's hard to say what they will be worth in 5-10 years. I do believe that the prices have bottomed out and will increase.
Mostly due to the limited quantities of an original or restored ATC. I too own an '85 350x and have been offered $1,000 just for the motor and that was before I rebuilt it. I of course turned him down knowing that you just don't see many nice 3 Wheelers left that haven't been ragged out.

i'm hoping the utilitys remain constant in value....

problem is the intial technology is aging......sure every man and his dog can sell ya after market parts.....but steel is steel.....and it all breaks adventually

i don't think quads like this will loose anymore value.....just as long as the new ones keep getting dearer.....and more expensive to keep up

This is an interesting topic. At least around my area, the prices of atc's have gone up. And I think they will continue to go up. A few years ago, the market was flooded with them, and you could get one cheap. Now, there are few, and the sellers are commanding top dollar for them.

I bought an 85 250R with a complete parts bike 4 years ago for $700. Today, I can sell the bike for over $1200 today (based on a conservative estimate off of Ebay). I rebuilt every part of the 86 parts bike that came with it. Of course I'll never get my money back on the 86 (Right now, the tally is about $6000), but I wanted to have a REALLY nice and SICK three wheeler.

I think that prices for the good bikes will continue to climb as more and more hit the scrap piles or become parts bikes.
