How can I ajust the the belt tenision? Do you loosen the motor mount? I checked clutches and everything looks good It is very hard to shift. I pulled both clutches and had the dealer check them out. All is good. I'm stumped.

Why do you say it is too tight ?.Is it creeping. If so ,then you can remove shim in the secondary. If this won't help then you may have to check the center to center distance from the crank to the tranny output shaft.

Yes if you put it in gear it goes in harsh and grinds and it will move forward. There is only 1 shim in the driven clutch and I tried removing it and it didn't help.

Check the center to center distance of the 2 shafts. You should be around 10".

ced would you not want to add a shim to get the belt to drop a little so it gets loose?

Yep that's right need to add a shim. Most have 2 shims in between the secondary from the factory!

I checked the center to center and it is 10". When I take the driven clutch apart, where should the spacers be? I don't see any at all.

They will be at the bottom of the shaft. If you don't have any this could very well be the problem.
