I plan to go to that race if at all possible. We have a mid south race the weekend before that, but we also have one the weekend after the Batesville,MS race in Kentucky. I have a flexible work schedule and took those two weeks off so that I can make it to all of these races. That is the plan anyway...lol. Is this race going to be at the same place it was 3 years ago? I ran that one and I didn't care too much for it. I couldn't get my push mower down some of those trails if I tried...lol. I assume you are talking about Byron with what you said. I am not sure who you are but I do know that Byron has mentioned something to me before about someone from the Miss area that owed him some money or something and got all huffy about that and some kind of crash that somebody caused him to make when he got all banged up last year. I dont know the whole story because I wasnt there. I'm just passing along what I have heard and not saying that you are that guy. I was just wonderin' and thats all. The last time he talked about it he said that he hasnt been able to have any contact here with anyone because of a lost password or something like that. I just started riding for Byron a few months ago.
Anyway, hope to see you there. I am riding a Yoshi prepped Z400 with the big papa 450 kit that is almost identical to the one that william yokley rides except that I do not use the carbon fiber wheels. You can't miss me.

I sat out all of last years MMCC races but one and I missed alot of them the year before as well due to one thing or another.

I am eager to start getting back in the groove of things.........and I plan to start at Batesville.

I will be running the B class in that series for the 2005 season.

well, I see the same players are around from last season it seems. lol
I am racing for team chaos again this year, but I am not getting into this whole team vs team thing again. I lost 2 races last year because i was intructed the entire season to not pass the so called leader of the team. I respect the guy, i really do, but if i am faster than him, i am passing. Carl and byron will just have to get over it. All they do for us is pay our entry fees and thats it. Isn't the fastest guy on a team supposed to be the leader anyway? lol
I hope to see all you guys there in february. it should be alot of fun.

 

why would you have been instructed not to pass? sounds like they are intimidated of you. lol anyway thats what racing is about is getting to the front to get first place. just my opinion. How does byron find yall and beg you to race on his team? well no matter what team everyone is on ill be glad when its the day of the race, because WHEN THE FLAG DROPS THE BULL$HIT STOPS!

 

I agree with everything you said reconbasher. I think it should be about the racing to but when the guy paying for you to be there asked you to follow a few rules you have to go by them sometimes. however i am not running on those terms this year. he is going to have to meet me half way if we have to swap some wins here and there. I am much faster than him and have proven that many times.
As far as how he found us...i can't speak for the other 5 because i don't know what kind of deal they are getting, but byrons dad confronted me about joining the team about 2 years ago at a fun ride at saulsbury. I wasn't racing all the races then because i couldnt afford it so having someone pay my entry fee was a big help as you can imagine. but i am more than capable of paying my own way now and if i get kicked off of the team for trying to win a race, then they can stick this whole team crap where the sun dont shine. lol

 

Letting someone by for the win when you are the faster of the two riders doesn't make any sense to me.

I could see it if it was down to the wire and points were at stake....at a National event. But the Memphis series??

You need to start doing what you are capable of despite what the moron in the big hat says. That is just my opinion, so don't take it personally. You should come and look us up at Batesville. We will be the laid back bunch. You can't miss us.

ill agree with knowsalot on what he just said, sounds like byron wants everyone to think he is the fastest on the team and cant be beat. anyway, sounds like if you depart from the team you would be better off. Just my opinion, not a personal thing toward you or anything. So where is byron since this tread started? He is usually on here talking all kind of crap about this and that.
