Sorry to hear that Jared.
You are right though...the wet weather will likely not help matters any.
See on the track soon enough though I am sure.

exrider guy,
I dont know who you are, but if you havent heard of our team then you obviously dont get out to many of the races. Our team has claimed 2 MidSouth B class titles [Baker and myself] and 3 class titles in the last 2 years in the Memphis series races. Byron himself has taken 2 of those and One in the C class and one in the B class. He will do the same in the A class this year if he still plans on running that class as expected. We all are going to run whatever class he enters in because we firmly believe in team work and helping each other as neccessary. As far as you saying that you are going to MAKE us move if we are in your way, is a bit of a stretch considering that you will be on our turf and I dont have a problem whatsoever stopping my race to take care of personal issues that should be left in the pit area. I am not starting anything with you at all here. Just calling you on your bluff. Don't attempt anything out there once the flag is dropped unless you plan to get a DNF at the end. Try something before the race and it will be a DNS. I am not threatening you at all. Just warning you based on your threat to me. By the way, which class are you running this weekend??

reconbasher,
I'm not gonna hassle you anymore regarding that wreck last year with Byron. I hear different stories from everyone that mentions it on here. I didn't see it so I am gonna take the 5th on this one for now. Which class are you running this weekend by the way?

knowsalot, Don't bother looking me up sunday before the race. Nothing personal between you and myself, but I don't think it would be a good idea. If the race ends without inicident between any of us, I will seek you out after the race. I am interested in what class you are planning on running though.

Good luck to all of you....including you exrider, and I will see all you guys on the line Sunday at Batesville.

i see you are like byron, what class titles did ya'll clame. i know for a fact bryon did not clame i title in 2002,and not sure about 2003with the mmc. cant remember if he moved to b class that year or not. as for 2004 and this year there were no title to be won with the mmc and how can you clame a title with a series that is only having one race(mmc 2005) as of this date. and i hate to bust your bubble but winning the mmc series is nothing to brag about. most of the classes do good to have 5 quads in them. yes the midsouth races have a much better turn out with equals more competion. by the way (baker who?????) its funny how ya'll make a big deal out of the mmc series. it is just a small club that puts on a few races a year, but i am glad they do. it is nice to drive 1 hour or less to race.

David,
Thanks for spreading the word about the Batesville race being put off until March 6. Trent and Everette both called me today and told me about it and they said that you told them. I am not one for regularly checking their website, so thanks for the heads up and saving my gas tomorrow.

liftkit, I don't know how you can sit here and tell me all about you moving up to bigger and better things so easily. I had no idea who you were, but you put your name up there for us all to see so I did some digging. You run the same series as I do [mid south] and I beat you the last time you ran against me...so am I supposed to see your name somewhere above mine? If so, then show it to me and I will shutup. You guys have a problem it seems with anyone out of your own little circle. As far as you guys running GNCC races..who cares? I have been racing at least 4 GNCC races every year for the last 5 or 6 years probably. Cry me a river. You even run the same class that I do. Byron says that you and him are good buds and to take it easy on you but you have a big mouth and I am not afraid to call it as I see it. I race every chance I get. Be it the memphis races, mid south, arkansas, missouri, and yes..the gncc's. I race everywhere and I try to particiapte in points when ever I can to win more than one title each year. Sorry for beating up on ya, but do some research into who you are bashing the next time. I am Robert Oakley and live just outside Starr,TN...which is about 30 minutes north of Memphis. Everyone who has more than a couple years under their belt know who I am and that I am not some novice guy running off at the mouth. If you want to get up with me for a ride on my property for practice let me know. I am not into making enemies like you guys so my offer is a serious one. good luck in your racing this year.

exracer, I got my number of titles for the team right, but not exactly the years. According to Byron, he won the 2003 C title and the 2004 B title. I won the 2001 B title and I did not run but two memphis races in 2002 I think, and I only ran one in 2003...and then only one in 2004. I race every weekend whenever possbile no matter what series it is. I just don't pick the memphis races when there is something bigger going on somewhere else. I used to be an A class rider in the mid south series years ago but as all of us do, I got older and slowed down. I tried the Vet class thing for a while, but there was no competition, so I moved to the B class and that is the class I race no matter what series or no matter who the competition is. I think it makes it fair to both myself and all the racers for me to stick with that class for a few more years...and then I will eventually move down to the Vet class again.
