So the race was canecelled? I'm all well now so whenever the race is I'm there. I havent put alot of thought into whether i should run B or C. I would like to get the hang of it a little more, but will probably decide what the hell and go ahead and run B. I'll do my learning there, no big deal win or lose.

Yes, the race was moved to another date due to all the rain last week. It is rescheduled for next Sunday,...March 6.

As for you running B class, I just assumed you were moving up this season. It's your call, so don't let me or anyone else try to convince you of doing something that you aren't comfortable doing yet. If you think you should rather stick with the C class for a while longer, then I say go for it and stay in there a while longer.

For starters, reconbasher, you dont go post stuff that you dont know. If you are going to dig into something, get all the facts. I do not race the 16-24 division,my son does. I have went by Bob Oakley when I race ever since my son started racing so that scoring problems don't become a factor. You would be surprised how many scoring officials cant figure out the difference between sr. and jr. It has caused so many problems, that I don't bother with it anymore, so I use Bob...which is what I am known by those close to me anyway.
Getting back to why I posted..I have the information on our team for next weekend.
None of us will be riding the A class from the way it looks right now. Byron said he might but wouldnt decide until he gets there. Don't rag him on that because he isnt here to respond back. And dont ask me anything about his decision. Ask him at the race if you want to know anything.
In the B class will be me on my LTZ450...Byron on his 440EX...my son on riding my YFZ450...and Joel Garrett on his YFZ450.
It's just us 4 and all of us will be in the same class. Byron is trying to get the Lane brothers to join up and run the A class so that you guys will not be whining that we sandbagged the event regarding the team battle, but I do not know how that is coming along at the moment. And like I said before, Byron might run the A class himself, so who knows.
Also, exracer131....Byron said that David Baker is lying to you if hesays that he didn't race for him last year and that he has plenty of pictures that was taken at his shop to prove it and will show them to you at Batesville if you still don't believe it. I seen the pictures but can't say it's David Baker because I didnt race the same series as that guy did..so I do not know who he looks like. Byron wouldnt lie about it, especially with the pictures, so I think your team mate is trying to dis-associate himself from Byron for some reason. From what I understand, Byron let him go because he refused to run the mid-south races..so think about your team mate's real intentions for lying about it. Yeah, this whole thread is ridiculous really. It only made sense for about the first 4 or 5 posts and it all went downhill from there. LOL

 

Tomorrow is the day to shut up or put up huh? I got a little bit of an update for you guys is the reason that I am posting tonight.
The Lane brothers will not be there to represent Byron in the A class. They had prior engagements.
Also, Joel (Garret) will not be there because he is sick with the flu.
Byron is running the B class. Robert Jr. is running the B class. And I will be running the B class also if I can get rid of this cough that I have had all week long. I will be there though none the less. So you may want to disband your team a little bit because it's only going to be 2 or 3 of us afterall. See you guys tomorrow evening and may the best team win out there.
