Hi guys.

I've been reading these forums daily for a couple of years now but don't post much. I have been in Iraq for a year now and I'm coming home in April. When I get home I will be buying a new 05 Sportsman 500 HO. I bought my last two bikes from a great dealer that is no longer in business. Does anyone know of a dealer within 5 hours of East Texas that has really good prices on 500 HOs? I know there has got to be some great prices on these bikes but I have no idea as to what dealers I can trust and who has the best prices. Right now, I can't go visit dealers or shop around much on the internet because of my work in Iraq. All you guys from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma, I need your help. What can I expect to pay? What would be a really good price for an 05 500 HO? If anyone with any advise can help me out, I sure would appreciate it.

 

I paid 6100 for my 05 sp, I thought that was pretty good, Fat Alberts polaris in poteau Ok.

6100 is a bit higher than I expected. I have heard of people on here paying 5300 - 5800. Is that unreasonable? Does anyone know of dealers in this range or am I totally off?

 

Wow. Around here the absolute best price I could get OTD was $6900. That's with tax, title and 8% sales tax included.

 

I forgot to mention that I'll pay cash. Wouldn't having cash help my chances of lowering the price?

 

well if you wanted to do a road trip, here is the retail and price at Polaris of Chattanooga:

2005 Sportsman 500 H.O. $6699 $5683

of course you would have to pay tax and registration in Tx if its required....

 

Try Dogwood Sales in Plalestine. I bought my Polaris Sportsman 600 ($5950.00 out the door) there last May. They beat every price except for the prices in Chattanooga. But they got within $150.00. I believe the guy I spoke with was Harold, Jr. They were very easy to deal with.

if you going to pay cash you can get a 600 or 700 for 6600-7000. i got mine this summer and i could have got on for 6400 cash 700 no eif.
