i sold my 85 tecate a while back, but still have basically a whole roller bike without motor that i bought with the complete one. So what motors can i put in the frame with little to no modification. i was thinking bout a kx500. I wanna make a drag bike out of it. Maybe a newer kx250. I wanna be able to get like 4.2's or so out of it. If i cant find anything then i may just sell it and get a 250R or Tri-Z to build up. Thanks Cody

 

a 84 and before kx250 motor will bolt in, they use the same motor cases, a kx500(or what ever different cc number that they had should bolt in also) for the 86/87's a 85-95? kx250 will bolt in as well as any year kx500
