I just got of the phone with my dad, we paid with credit card for them to put it on layaway until Feb 18!!!! We have to drive down and get it so were planning the trip, its orange 05' Troy Lee Edition, we wanted 05' because we need reverse badly, I have heard that the Pred is bad in 5th gear but were going to do major trails and we need that low end grunt! plus my dad doesnt want me getting that fast anyways, or at least in front of him.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But I have bashed Polaris in the past and after riding a Pred I couldnt believe what I was missing out of. Unbelievable machine and blows the z400 away in many aspects, that was my second choice was a z400, the Pred is alot wider than the z and that makes it great! It seems like a very well built machine and made in the US. Love it!!!!

Ok to the question, i want an unbiased opinion, WILL THE PREDATOR BEAT THE RAPTOR STOCK!?!?!?!

no mean to stir stuff up but just wanted to know , Polaris has been way more to what i have expected it to be, i admit, i bashed Polaris and never rode one, but now that i have and im impressed!

we will be taking care of it, its gonna be kept in a heated barn and we will take care of it so it should last, right???just like all the other quads, ill have pics up ASAP when i get it, tommorow at breakfast ill beg my father to get it sooner LoL!!!

Also when we decided on it they asked which design, TLD STD or standard, we liked the shocks and handling of the TLD, but what is a STD besides the transmitted disease???

and yes a predator will beat a raptor stock for stock, i have personal experience with that

 

i dsay its a cointoss and really depends on rider skill and if the bikes are tuned properly

the bikes are close in stock trim

Do you guys think that the TLD falls on its face in 5th i dont really care cause ill be in 2 or 3rd most of the time, a pred will hand a 1998 400ex with racing gear its a** right???i have a friend at school that likes to talk smack about my quad, hes a beginner and been riding for a couple of months now, ive been riding for 7 years, maybe ill beat him???

The test of the predator and raptor...in I think DW, shows the predator going 1 mph faster than the raptor...not too shabby for a 500 vs a 660....
