Give me a few days and I'll let you know. I bought a 2 inch lift on ebay just yesterday.

I second the motion, I am getting ready to get my 27's and want to know what the lift looks like and how easy it was to do. I want a real lift not some cut tubing like you see people adding to there springs.

My lift kit I bought on e-bay came today. The aution said it was simple to install, no guess work. The instructions that came with it says they recomend a professional mechanic do the installation. 13 or 14 steps. May take me a while to figure it out.

I'm running a two inch lift on my 03 Sportsman 500. Initially I just installed the front kit as the rear installation seemed a bit intimidating and I wanted to level the machine out, take the front-end-down look away. After I flipped it two and a half times on several different outings I thought that maybe the factory has the front end lower for a reason. I then installed the back lift and havnt had any more incidents...yet. I'm running the stock tires with ITP rims, the machine looks great with plenty of space above all the tires. I never get the feeling that it's top heavy either. Oh, the installation is a breeze, you don't need a spring compressor as well, even though the directions may recommend you do. Good luck!

Just don't go too over board with a lift/tire combo. Puts too much strain on the drivetrain. You could possibly break steering knuckles, tierods. I don't know if this is worth anything to you guys but my coworker has a 2004 Prairie 700 with 4 inches of lift and 28 or 29 inch tires. He is always breakin stuff on his atv. Of course, he is damn hard on his atv too. Treats it like a sport machine. He could probably tear up a bowling ball, hahaha.

For a stock Polaris front end, 2" is the max. Anything more than that and you will do damage to the CV's. At two inches of lift and the suspension at it most extreme angle, the CV's are just about at the designed service limit.
