i was ove to the highlifter site and saw this recon

looks like it has some good ground clearence and looks like what i need... clearence

any one put 25 inch outlaws on a recon good or bad idea?- id think you would need some power to pull the tires around

depends on how big you get those outlaws look mean

 

funny, i just posted about how i replaced my stock tires with 25" alum c-series rims and 25" bearclaws, all-round. definitely WAY better ground clearance. had to trim a little plastic on the wheel well area (enclosed footboard flange). i'll bump my post for ya.

 

a friend of mine put a set of 25" gators on the rear of his recon just before we went on a huge dice run and he was going anywhere we wanted to take our 4x4's the only problem he had was he couldn't steer to save his life when he was in deep. so i would say go for it it was night and day as far as where he could and couldn't go
