reverse gear bogging

Is itnormal when your in reverse and you go full throttle it seems like your engine runs out of fuel. It doesn't stall but if you let off the throttle and idle it it will be fine for a second and then start sputtering and backfiring. If you go slow it is fine. I have a 2001 grizzly. Thanks

It does it even after half throttle

the first time i rode my kodiak I thought the same then clued in.. it has a rev eliminator in reverse so you don't kill yourself Just feels like fuel is being cut off.

Thanks Kerplunk thats more of the answer I was looking for. It still seems strange that you can't go full throttle in reverse. But I guess that makes sense.
