Default Work struts fit great but Progressive springs didn't

I installed my Work struts today and the Scrambler struts fit perfect. They were actually 1/4" taller, and also had more shaft then the stock ones. I put the Works and stock side by side standing up and pushed both down at the same time and the stock went down twice as easy as the works then the works rebounded twice as fast. The stock one seem to take forever to fully extend, but the Works went right back quick. So the compresion and rebound is a huge difference. It got to dark to give it a try so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to test it. Now on to the Progressive springs. The Scrambler springs was about a inch longer then what elkbow had on his picture of the springs. So it looked like they would work. Well since the Works strut has a bigger shaft, it also has a bigger bump stop. This would not go through the top of the Progressive spring thus not going all the way to the top. The stock stop would not fit on the Works shaft so I was not able to install the Progressive kit. I guess I'll have to wait for a kit to be made. The install was easy and this should help for my first race in a little over a month. On a side note, these struts raised my front end about 3/4" over the stock ones and gave me over 9" of travel.

If any Scrambler owners want a Progressive spring kit, I will give you a good deal on a brand new set.

What kind of spring kit is it. Is it the one from hot seat or from Dennis Kirk

Well thats not good, so what are you going to do? Can you make a new stop? Not that you want to chop the crap out of your new works setup....

For now I will try with stock springs. Then if it looks like I need more in the front, I will have to wait for another kit for the 05's to come out. I'm more happy with the strut working then the spring and hopefully I'll be able to try it out today.
