Congratulations on the new 125 reconman. You just gotta love that 12,000 RPM screamin two stroke power. I bought myself a new Yamaha WR250F dirt bike, and my 14 year old son a new YZ125 dirt bike last October. I liked the YZ125 so much more than my WR250F, that I sold the doggy 4-stroke and bought a new YZ250 for myself.

So enjoy that little screamer [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img], but be careful, because they are wicked fast.

 

nice dent in the pipe. if you want it fixed close up the motor end of the pipe then blow air into it to make it pressurized then take a cutting torch and get the dent hot and it will pop back out

i really like my "new to me" bike
the dent in the pipe isnt really that big and im sure there may be a few comeing my way because im gonna be racing a few harescrambles and maybe a motocross(novice class)
i know someone who could help me with anyways
im sure its gonna be a fun big with hopefully few problems

I bought my son's YZ125 new. It was a left over 2003 model that I paid $3800 for, being as it was "last years model". The only "problem" we have had with it was when we discovered that the kickstarter had fallen off. Too bad we were 20 miles away from the truck when we discovered that little problem. Even that wasn't so bad though, because we just push started it. Betcha didn't know a new kickstarter cost $90 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] We learned the hard way that you need to check the bolts and nuts on these little buzz bombs, because they can definitely vibrate things loose.
